About us

For several years, God has placed a growing burden on the hearts of Heath and Sarah Caldwell to see a Gospel-centered, Bible-believing church established in the Moncks Corner community.  What began as a calling and a season of prayer is now becoming a church family committed to knowing Christ, and making Him known.

Heath serves as the Lead Pastor of CrossWay Church and brings eight years of pastoral ministry experience, along with a master’s degree in Christian Ministry from Liberty University.  He and Sarah have a deep love for people and a desire to see individuals and families transformed by the Gospel and rooted in the local church.

At CrossWay Church, we believe the church is more than a Sunday gathering.  It is a family of believers centered on Jesus Christ, rooted in the Word of God, devoted to prayer, committed to discipleship, and engaged in the mission God has given His church.

Whether you have followed Jesus for years, looking for a church home, or are simply exploring what Christianity is all about, we would love for you to join us.

Come as you are, bring your family, and discover what it means to follow Jesus together!

The Vision

CrossWay Church exists to provide opportunities for every man, woman and child to take their next steps with Jesus.

The Mission

CrossWay Church exists to help people know Jesus personally, grow to be more like Him, share in His love with others, and live the abundant life He offers.

Biblical Values

  • A man with short dark hair and a beard, wearing a checkered shirt, is speaking at a podium during a church event with a large congregation. The background shows seated attendees and a bulletin board.

    Christ Centered

Everything begins and ends with Jesus.  Every sermon, ministry, and decision points to Him.  He is not just the foundation, He is the focus.

  • A man with a beard wearing a checkered shirt stands in a room with a large white clock on the wall, a television, and other electronic devices, smiling and looking at his phone.

    Rooted in Scripture

We preach, teach, and live the Word of God without compromise.  The Bible is our final authority in all matters of faith and practice.

  • People praying on a church pew with a white altar in the background.

    Devoted to Prayer

Prayer is not a program; it’s our lifeline.  We depend fully on the power and presence of God to build His church.

  • Two women hugging each other with a blurred background and an overlay of white text that says, "committed to Discipleship."

    Committed to Discipleship

We are not content with mere attendance; we pursue transformation.  Every believer is called to grow and help others grow in Christ.

  • Children and an adult gathered around a table playing with Legos at an indoor event. There are snacks and water bottles on the table, and a bookshelf with books in the background.

    Engaged in Mission

We exist to reach our city and the nations with the Gospel.  Every member is a missionary where they live, work, and play.

Unique Values

  • A group of people sitting in a room watching a presentation on a large screen displaying a Bible passage from Ephesians 1:15-20. The room has plain walls, and the audience includes people with different hair colors and styles, some wearing plaid shirts.

    Faith Filled

We trust God for what only God can do.  We pray boldly, obey courageously, and expect Him to work for His glory.

  • Two men are having a conversation in a professional setting with a woman. There is a large outlined graphic of a handshake with the text "I can do attitude" overlaid on the image.

    Can do Attitude

We refuse to make excuses.  Empowered by Christ, we embrace challenges with hope, diligence, and a willingness to serve wherever needed.

  • A man with a beard and checkered shirt standing in front of a screen and a sign that reads, "Where might God be asking you to step in and help build his church?" inside a room with people seated facing him.

    Personal Responsibility

We own our walk with Christ.  We pursue holiness, take initiative, keep our commitments, and seek to faithfully steward every opportunity God gives us.

  • A man and woman embracing and smiling inside a building, with the word 'joyful' and a hand icon overlay on the image.

    Joyful

The Gospel produces lasting joy.  We choose gratitude, encourage one another, and serve the Lord with glad hearts, even in difficult seasons.

  • People, including children and an adult woman, gathered around a round table with toys and books, at an indoor event or gathering. The background features a bulletin board and part of a bookshelf.

    Family Oriented

We believe the home is God's primary place for discipleship.  We love, strengthen, and equip families of every stage to follow Christ together, while embracing the church as a spiritual family.
